My name is Santiago Alvarez and if you’ve landed on this page, I’m guessing you like reading.
Or perhaps… stalking?
Either way, I’m very glad to have you here.
I’ll get straight to the point—you probably have a few questions, so let me give you some clarity on who we are and what we do.
Let me start by sharing a bit about how Ad Hoc Digital came to be.
The Beginning
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit.
In fact, my first “business” came when I was just 3 years old.
Picture this: I was at my mum’s office, and I decided to start selling magazines to everyone around so that I could buy a brand new red Ferrari Lego set.
The catch?
Well I was offering a whopping 100% off.
Not exactly a profitable venture, but hey I was just getting started.
After that, I dabbled in all sorts of businesses.
I was always interested in how things worked, how people bought and sold, and when I wasn’t busy, I was daydreaming about my next big idea.
It didn’t matter if it was small or didn’t quite take off—I just loved the process.
Whether I was selling random things or brainstorming my next “genius” plan, business was always on my mind.
Every venture, no matter how it turned out, taught me something valuable, and honestly, it’s those early experiences that shaped the way I approach things today.
How Ad Hoc Digital Came to Be
I never planned on running a marketing company, let alone one focused on law firms.
I was actually on a completely different path—a business law and marketing degree, with law school just around the corner (full ride, believe it or not).
But as much as I loved the law, I kept coming back to my passion for entrepreneurship and marketing.
In my spare time, I started networking with lawyers, grabbing coffee and listening to their stories. Trying to absorb as much as I could like a sponge.
And during this time I kept hearing the same story: these lawyers were great at lawyering, but their marketing? That was a whole different story.
They were struggling to get traction, despite the hard work they were putting in.
In fact many were frustrated to see lawyers they saw as less skilled, or sometimes less ethical growing rapidly, grabbing market share and expanding their reach.
That was when it clicked for me.
I saw this huge gap in the legal industry—one where the right law firms that ACTUALLY did great work for their clients were just not getting the attention they deserved.
Our Mission
So I founded Ad Hoc Digital with one simple mission: to help law firms stand out, get noticed, and grow.
But it goes deeper than that. I wanted to build something real—a company that law firms could actually trust.
Not just another marketing agency that treats clients like numbers on a spreadsheet, but rather a partner that’s in it for the long haul.

A Personal Note

I’m not someone who’s big on fluff, so I’ll keep this straightforward.
I work hard—to be honest probably more than I should.
But when I say I’m here to help my clients, I genuinely mean it.
Whether it’s jumping on a last-minute call or figuring out how to adjust strategies on the fly, I’m always available and willing to do whatever it takes to help my clients get great results.
When I’m not working, I like to spend time working out, heading to the beach or going out to eat.
I also really enjoy traveling, but unfortunately I don’t go as much as I would like.
That said, I’m always focused on the next challenge, the next opportunity to help a law firm grow, and to build something great together.
